Black Lives Matter
In response to George Floyds death and the racial injustices that continue to grow I wanted to create a typographic piece showing how we need to stand together. Taking inspiration from the resist fist graphic and Black Lives Matter.
Process
When developing this type my original thought was to only do “Black Lives Matter”, but once I started working I realized adding the “We stand together” fit well into the shape of the fist and communicates the message more effectively. My favorite part of this work was including my own hand drawn type.
